At Riemans we have over  60 years’ experience working on a wide range of cars from the present day back to vintage icons.  With modern workshop equipment at our disposal we’re fully equipped to take on any task.

As modern car service intervals increase, maintaining a car when required is more important than ever.  With some vehicles now having service intervals two years apart, it’s imperative that when maintenance is due, it’s carried out correctly.

We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and thoroughness.

From the moment your car enters our workshop it will only ever be maintained with parts and lubricants that meet the manufacturer’s exacting standards.  Anything else is simply a false economy.

From your filters and wiper blades, to the lubricants that go in your engine and transmissions and even your screen wash – you can rest assured that it will always be from a quality supplier and meet the original equipment specification.  This will ultimately save you money in the long run as inferior parts are far more likely to wear out sooner, or not quite work as intended at all – requiring costly, premature replacement.

We also do not operate on a full or minor service basis like a lot of our competitors.  After all, why should you have to pay for a set of spark plugs every year if the manufacturer suggests they should be changed every 60,000 miles irrespective of age?  At Riemans we’ll study your previous service history in conjunction with what is required, and only replace the parts that are due for change.

BLOCK EXEMPTION REGULATION

You cannot be obliged e.g. as a condition of warranty, to have your car serviced by a franchised dealer.

So long as parts of genuine or equivalent quality are used and the manufacturer’s service schedule is adhered to, you have the right to have your car serviced where you wish.

As Riemans only use quality parts and lubricants, and strictly follow the manufacturer’s recommendations, this allows us to safely maintain your car even if it’s brand new without adversely affecting your warranty.

With our labour rate being approximately half that of many main dealers, Riemans represents a significant saving compared to having your car maintained in the franchised network.
